mentioned in the HOF discussion...a QB with his numbers and 2 SB wins almost has to be in the Hall...if they beat Philly, it will be his 3rd SB to play in.

That's why I said Jim Plunkett. Plunkett lost most of his career on sorry teams, but Al Davis (before he went senile) revived his career and he won 2 super bowls.

...that Plunkett would be the poor man's Kurt Warner. Warner's won 2 MVPs, played in 2 Super Bowls, and checking Wikipedia here.. has been named to four Pro Bowls and has a QB rating of 93.8 compared to Plunkett's 67.5.

So I'll agree with Coach here.

I think he's one of the most underrated QB's ever if he doesn't get in the HOF, he's been labeled a product of the system by the media when he was in St Louis and as a product of having 2 great receivers now.
If they wouldn't have faltered down the stretch (can't blame them b/c they had the division locked up a long time ago) I think he should've won the MVP this year.
When this guy plays w/ an Oline that can protect w/ the best of them, he's top notch. It's not like Mike Martz or those St Louis receivers thrived without him, nor do I think the Cards would be as good w/ Leinart

his completion % is through the roof. I honestly think he has never really gotten the credit he deserves.

two NFC champs, 1 SB, 4 playoffs?...those facts alone put him in an elite class.

He only has 1 Super Bowl win, over the Titans. Lost his second Super Bowl to the Patriots. He does have 2 league MVPs and a Super Bowl MVP. I thing the guy is a Fall of Famer.
