I feel like we have traditionally held our ground pretty well against some premiere running backs/running games in the SEC, which I guess is due at least in part to the fact that we tend to have a strong running game ourselves. It has to help our D to line up against the likes of Anthony Dixon, Vick Ballard, Perkins, etc. every day in practice.
So looking at the favorites to win the SEC East and West you have Richardson at Bama and Lattimore at SC, both outstanding backs. How will MSU's D fare against potent running games like these? Personally I think we will surprise a lot of folks and hold one of these guys to under 100 yards in our game, but I don't know about stopping both. What do you think?
