I said last year that Lewis will go down as the best DE in Rutgers history. I still stand by that.
And the surrounding cast of characters on defense should be even better for him this season.
CHOP Robinson not ending up at Rutgers is criminal
Right now I see Mo as a pass rusher. AL can play the run and the pass and demands double teams on both. Teams have to no where he is.
I want to see Mo play live again though.
Once I see the NW game, and then get to watch the film, I can make an opinion.
I know you didn't ask my opinion. But I think having Lewis and Toure on the field together will allow for the D to fire on all cylinders.. Teams last year were double teaming and chipping Lewis. They will not able to do that this year with a beefed up interior and LB's at full strength. We had 2 and at times up to 4 of our best LB's out with medical issues.
Wesley Bailey showed that he was no slouch either.
Don’t sleep on Kenny fletcher for some extra pressure once in awhile. There will be some good combos out there and some good rotations on D . I’m looking forward to the season and seeing the growth of our boys as they go through the pipeline .
Kenny will be a good one. I think he is still a year away.
