Well stated. Kid grew up in Creighton Court & could’ve easily went down the wrong path or made excuses.. He didn’t. Worked hard! Happy for all these kids.
Absolutely, I was in the gym at HSHS after those kids won that 1st State Title. I watched each one go up at get those rings! A lot of them jumped for joy, happiness was every where. K'Von dropped to his knees and cried hard! I cried watching him. His little sister was all over him, he kept crying. His mom came to him consoling him telling him how much he earned it and how much she loved him. It was a moment I'll never forget.
Truly amazing! Then, goes to Clemson... got his ACC and National Championship rings his Freshman year! Amazing again.
....the biggest.... he graduated with his degree! First in his family.
Now.... he will make big bucks in the NFL! How fantastic!!! I am so proud of him and every single one of those kids that have been through that program and have turned themselves into fine men! My hat's off to HSHS's coaching staff and all of the kids associated with it!
