What's the skinny on 247? I have never heard of them... Any good compared to scout, rivals, etc...
sold it to Yahoo for $100 million - quit Yahoo after a year. Had a 2 year non compete and started 247sports about a year ago. His name is Shannon Terry.
it's the same crew from BDJ, minus Wardlaw, who will be over there. The layout, boards, user options, PM, video, links, story board, social media aspect, etc... is lightyears ahead of scout or rivals. I don't know if people realize it, but Rivals just died overnight. Yahoo is bleeding money and shutting down Rival's office, etc... people can't even get a damn return e-mail over there.
247 has8 SEC schools already started. OM will be on there later this week, and a few more are set to join soon. The only outstanding school from what I've heard is Vandy, but I'm sure they're working on that.

. . . as a "lifetimer" at BDB/BDJ, how did you get a free subscription? Paul noted in his Welcome to our site post that lifetime subs couldn't be honored. Just curious how you managed that.jeremyrbrown said:
