Today was Hubie Browns final television broadcast as he is retiring at the young age of 91. I saw a stat where he has either coached, coached against, or called a television broadcast of 80 percent of the players that have ever played in the NBA.

I love me some Hubie. I’ve listened to him call NBA games my whole life and of course he spent that stretch as Grizzlies coach. Grizzlies had never even had a winning season much less got to the playoffs and he took them there. He still seems sharp to me at 91, too. It’s really amazing he’s been able to do it this long.
Things like this sting. I can’t even count how many games I watched with Hubie announcing
