I don't see how you don't hire Nutt in this situation. Hud would leave ASAP, and the further he gets from Mississippi/Alabama/Lousiana the less I think he's worth. Nutt knows the lay of the land and is just weird enough to attract decent prospects to SMU over schools that shouldn't have to compete with SMU for recruits.

Well.... Y'all hired him after the dumpster fire he left Arkansas with...

And I don't think recruiting is necessarily his problem. Y'all raked in nearly every year with Nutt. It's the whole "accountability" thing that 17'd y'all, the "make sure my recruits I get by telling them I have a lake they can fish on, whose moms I promise how I'll make them a man, don't turn out like total pieces of ****" part.
