That would be hilarious.

I think that would actually be a decent hire for UT. Freeze may or may not be able to build on his success, but I seriously doubt he will be a train wreck. He has ties to tennessee. And despite what people at Tennessee believe, I don't think their job is that attractive. I doubt they'd do much better unless they made a godfather offer to a big name coach, and even then I'm not sure they get one of the few "sure things" that will be able to succeed even without a natural recruiting base.

You would have a point if it wasn't written by a guy who covered him for Rivals while he was an assistant at Ole Miss and Scout.com while he coached at Arkansas State. Written by anyone else and you could consider it legitimate...but not by James Bryant.

You know this is sweet irony that UM used "Mullen is leaving MSU and here is the article" against us in recruiting. Now there are are articles popping up on other sites about him being a candidate.

I hope these articles are being hand delivered to all recruits.

I dont "need a point" to do what you dickwad Bear fans did every time a article like this about Mullen came out the last 3 years. Im going to do the same and blast this **** all over the place so maybe a recruit will see it. See, sounds pathetic huh?

anymore. His ship has sailed and you can see the disappointment in his face.

Bear Fail. Heard Bruce Feldman mention Mullen's name for the UT job on the radio today. Not that there is anything to it, but there was nothing to the previous 10+ jobs his name has been thrown out for.

But isn't his record at the Bears similar to Dooley's at Tennessee? One difference is that he beat us and Dooley didn't. But both got beat by Vanderbilt ....

It wouldn't be a bad hire for them. Not the home run they were hoping for, but I don't think anyone could say he's a bad coach based on what he's done so far. And how would it be killing 2 birds with 1 stone? Why would we care who Tennessee's coach is or how he does? We'll only play them once every 6 years and the next time won't be for a while.

Ohh and leave more room for you too act like a wannabe badass on here about an Internet bet which you were too stupid to even correctly make?

Lets take a quick straw poll on here on who should post less preppy.

Now go wipe an old mans *** and roll on his condom catheter nurse boy.

Instead of bragging how he planned to let the students storm the field, Bjork should have been working on Hugh's kiddie contract. The big boys won't shortchange him.

It's two birds if you are not a Tennessee fan. MSU has been butting heads with UT on recruits more than once or twice lately. Remember all that **** started in August about Will Redmond, Mirando, DeVinner and Memphis recruiting? It was rumored TennStud a huge UT booster started all of that ****. So yea I like it when UT sucks. MSU benefits from it.

According to the Blind Side, the Tuohy's were super anti-UT (I guess they're Mississippi's real rival), but then if I were to believe the Blind Side, that would mean:

1. Michael Oher is retarded, or at least not competent enough to live on his own.
2. Hugh Freeze didn't pimp out Michael Oher to get a college job.
3. Memphis is clean.
4. None of it violated NCAA regulations because it was all for a mother's love of this giant man-child that couldn't spell football or, for that matter, NCAA, and to get him off the streets and into a better life.
5. When Philip Fulmer evaluates a recruit, he has the same wild look in his eye that a pervert gets when he makes an addition to his spank-bank.
6. Mississippi was at one time someone's "dream job". Yaw yaw yaw yaw

I'm actually unsure which of the above is most believable. Probably the Philip Fulmer one.

7. that Hugh Freeze can't coach a lick without assistance from Leanne.

You are and idiot. 4 seasons here at MSU- 3 bowl games and two 8-4 seasons? That's pretty damn good for anyone at MSU (and believe it or not, UM- too). He is still a hot name in coaching searches.

Freeze wont be at UM forever, either. If you or any other bear believes that- then you are psychotic. Freeze grew up an MSU fan in Independence, MS. He went to USM (to the top) and then coached girls basketball and football at a High School. If it weren't for the Tuohy's- he'd still be coaching High School sports. They are the only reason for his UM connection. Did you know he was interviewing for the Memphis girl's basketball job a few years ago? Yep- fact. Is he a better D-1 coach than what most thought? Sure he is, but the UM Black Bears played on a lot of emotion. That can only carry you so far.

UM is a stepping stone for him. If any bigger job comes around, he will claim it as a "blessing from God" and he will run to the bigger payday. It's all economic to him. He plays a great front as being a "man of God" and having "integrity". He is a snake in the grass- but then again, that type fits your fan base perfectly. So when he ****'s on UM, I'll laugh.

Sad thing is, I bet you actually believe that. He was born in Oxford, went to Senatobia HS then Northwest MS CC. His parents went to Ole Miss. You really believe he was a State fan?

I believe thou doth protest too much.

Wikipedia says otherwise:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Freeze

Southern Miss grad that grew up in Independence, MS.

Says otherwise, what? He was born in Oxford, MS and grew up in Independence, just one county northwest of Oxford. Both of his parents went to Ole Miss. He attended Northwest Mississippi CC before Southern. No one has presented anything to indicate the man grew up a State fan. If he had, don't you think someone, somewhere, would have heard about it by now and it would have been covered in the media?
