Hey. If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Stephen D. Lee, our first president, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy dead slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other dead people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-***, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey **** he is. Hallelujah. Holy ****. Where's the Tylenol?
There is our 5 year anniversary kick in the nuts.

we get a taste of the goodness of a bowl win, an NCAA tourney, a CWS, and Polk finally leaving. Now it seems like the bottom is falling out. As someone who used to post her would say, "We are M-State."

Many in the athletic department are almost convinced that we are going to lose scholarships over this, since we had 5 players leave without graduating, which is a result of the new NCAA Academic Point system or something like that....Not only do we lose these players, but scholarships as well.

We can't even apply that anymore. This is the most depressing offseason I can remember and it comes on the heels of our first bowl game since 2000. Ah, to be an MSU fan. Abandon all hope indeed.</p>

If they are suspended from the team, do they lose their scholarship? I mean, if you are suspended for misconduct, why not stick around for that free college education?

Or does the misconduct go hand-in-hand with academic ineptness?

With this comment: "Also rising with a bullet (hahahahah!) is Mississippi State, who had two players booted last week after you know an ho-hum la-di-dah GUNFIGHT on campus with a non-student."

the scholarship for the kid who had adopted his own brother and was raising him. I believe that was in February, so I guess they get renewed for the next year during the spring.

that those 3 wouldn't have dropped out of school if they weren't involved in the incident, which would give us more Fulmer Cup points.

They weren't gonna be on the team next year so their scholarship being renewed next year didn't really play into the decision.

against those 3 players for being involved? If they did hide the guns then I would think the school would kick them out as well, which is probably what they are attempting to avoid by withdrawing.
