Hurricane remnants affect next weekend

Hurricane Dorian is showing signs of a Florida landfall then curve Northward and provide a threat of heavy rain and wind between Thursday and Saturday next week. Bummer! HS vs OS could be affected...and all other games in Central and Eastern Virginia.

Let's hope this doesn't happen... Last year was bad enough with all the weather issues.

I hope weather does not affect us as bad this year as it did last year. so many cancellations and Monday games last season

The latest forecast that I just saw gives me hope the we can get Thursday and Friday games in, but Sat looks a little iffy. Especially from about Fredericksburg south.

But, remember, about four days ago they were speculating that it would be a remnant low pressure system as it approached Florida. Now it's likely to be a CAT 4.

You know, weather forecast are about as accurate as my picks in the various "pick-ems!"
