Huskers arent taught how to hit the long ball apparently. Thank goodness Iowas pitchers cant find the strike zone.

Wikening strikes out to end the inning. Tied 6-6. On to the 7th!

GO HUSKERS!

I know it's staying the obvious but winning the first game of a series changes everything. Can clinch a series on day 2 and then think about sweep. Is put a strong arm out in game one every chance I can get.

Meyers would be the Friday night starter if he wasn't a two-way player. Starting him on Sunday isn't ideal, but it's better than seeing him cut loose a throw home on Saturday and messing up his arm.

Fire Erstad. He's responsible.

Well when your pitcher is struggling late and you have nobody warming up in the bullpen that is in the coaches. They are saying, screw it, Chad is gonna get the win or the loss and are conceding the game. Also as hitters, we have no power hitters. Iowa had 3 freaking homeruns tonight, we came close 3x. Erstad likes playing small ball but HRs can change the game quickly. Iowa just lost a series to freaking a single digit win Northwestern team last week. This loss is inexcusable.

Who do you think is ultimately responsible for those stats? It's the head coach. And it's not like leaving a lot of runners on base is a new thing for this team. It's a recurring theme.
Shhhh, this is the same guy who will tell you five years of poor shooting is not a Tim Miles issue. Must be nice to have such a high paying job in which you aren't responsible for anything.
