Had late leads in both sets. I was nervous when Cook called that timeout in the second, because it has seemed like PSU has went on a run after every TO. Comeback time now, I guess.

Penn St is much better than their record. They should have been a top 4 seed this year but for some reason couldn't get it going. Time to regroup and win the next one.

And do you realize we've beaten them soundly in the two previous meetings? They're the #16 seed for a reason. They're playing well, but wer'e helping them a lot.

Yes Nebraska swept them in Lincoln but it went 5 sets in Happy Valley so they didn't beat them soundly in BOTH previous meetings. Penn State has some of highest rated recruiting classes. Don't forget, we have also had the benefit of several non calls by the officials that have gone our way and Penn State has quite a few serving errors.

Penn State is taking it to Nebraska and the Huskers need to answer now.

But seriously, Penn State is a lot better than you give them credit for. They can beat us. Hopefully, not today. :)

I thought I read that we won 3-1 in Happy Valley. At any rate, this is still a surprise. Some uncharacteristic mistakes the first 2 sets.

We've picked it up in the 3rd though.

Huskers.com says 3-2. Yes the Huskers are playing better at this point...need to close out this set.

More so just utterly surprised that we blinked...twice...at the end of the first two sets. Very uncharacteristic. These guys usually have a killer mentality.
