Meh. I had a feeling they were due for a clunker. Mid holiday games are tough.
They play a little better in the third quarter and they win that game. Can't come out of the locker room at half and get outscored 29-14. Why was this game played at 2PM on a Monday. Doesn't anyone care about WBB?
Did you think they were going to go undefeated? I think they'll be top half of the conference but USC is a contender.
Undefeated...no, but losing a tossup game at home hurts NCAA seeding somewhere down the road.
Huskers made the mistake of taking a 1-point lead into halftime at Iowa. Officials must have gotten a stern lecture during the break, as it’s been a ref show ever since.
To many turnovers the last 5-6 minutes of the game, way to sloppy to win a tight game
Iowa made adjustments at the half...Nebraska, not so much.

If that's the case, then why did Phyllis Diller Bluder cry about the officiating after every game her teams ever lost?
I didn’t realize the anti-NE officiating conspiracy went beyond football. Interesting.
I never said it was anti-Nebraska. Pretty much any opponent coming into Iowa City faces the same thing.
I remember the year Creighton knocked Iowa out of the NCAA Tournament, when Bluder spent the entire postgame bawling about how the Hawkeyes didn't get the quota of FTs they're entitled to. After getting on that hag's bad side, I'll bet that poor officiating crew never worked another tournament game.
But, of course, according to the trolls who live here 24/7, complaining about officiating is totally different when Iowa does it.
