Auburn would have hung over 60 on us. If Torbush has been such a great defense coordinator for so long, I dont understand why he didn't make early adjustments & stacked the line more & blitzed the QB more. That was some of the worst defensive coaching I've seen in a very long time. If this keeps up, I just hope Mullen don't keep him around like Sly did with Willy Mac. I'm pretty doggone ( Emory Bellard's favorite word ) sure we could have found several better defensive coaches to hire than Torbush.

Memphis State has had to punt 17 time in their first two games.

Edit: Vandy's punter sucks ***. Maybe he can give us a 16 yard gift like we did for them last year.

He could have held tryouts and found a already-on-campus walk-on that was better than what he recruited. Be good or be gone!

they just weren't male- see Eric Richards.

But yes, I agree. It looked like Croom completely ignored ST's all together for five years.

Looking at Vandy's rank, that gives me a little hope that either A) Neon Berry will take one to the house or B) we'll play most of the game with decent field position.</p>

Vandy's guy blasted a rugby kick off a blocker last week for a -16 yarder. What a sweet play that rugby style deal is for us.
