So Lebby got 24 votes? How many fake accounts on here do Lebby and Hutzler have?
I'd say 85-15 is about as big of a beatdown as you'll ever get on an internet poll, because there are always going to be people who just want to be "funny" or contrarian.

Listen the truth is beating ASU was a last minute miracle and Arkansas beat themselves with ridiculous penalties. Easily could be 3 instead of 5 winses

I'm not defending him (more on that in a moment), but if you're going to throw up close wins, you gotta acknowledge close losses. There were 3 losses that could have been wins with a single play happening or not happening.

That said, he did multiple stupid *** things in all those losses that helped make them happen. And he doesn't seem to be learning.

Yeah or that 80-20 rule usually holds true

80% of the foot soldiers are pretty dumb and 20% of the people need to be the ones making adult decisions.

Is it more common for a retread to be good again, or for a good with a really bad record to suddenly become good?

Neither is completely unprecedented, but one's got to be more likely.
Consdering the situation: Lebby's offense is starting to click... defense and roster construction seem to be biggest concerns which do have a plan to be better with new defensive staff. I would bet on Lebby's chances of being good over Mullen next year. I guess I am still tired of him leaving every year and it would be no different. Old GF just don't seem to work well if they left you in the lurch like he did the last few years where it seemed he checked out toward the end of the season.

If it were Mullen, I could see how it could work with KT and a GM to handle the recruiting work which he wasn't great but NIL can affect that. He may could garner enough support to bring in more NIL monies.

I kind of like both. Lebby gets another year and wins 8-10 games.... leaves for...... and enter Mullen. Things could be rosey for awhile.

Honestly it doesn’t matter. Lebby would probably be fired in the next year or two unless he makes significant improvements. Mullen would jump ship the first chance he got so we’d be back looking for a coach either way.

I chose Lebby bc I don’t think retreads have a very good track record. They typically don’t have the same fire that made them successful the first time.
I think Mullen with Kamario Taylor would be deadly. I don't know if he'd even need the same fire.

And I'm not as down on Lebby as most. That's just a completely unfair comparison for Lebby.

Lebby is an Az State or Ark loss away from being run out of town this year. Maybe not by the AD but by everyone else. He showed some spark, but he was one loss away from calling plays from a press box next year.
He was also one win away (three of which probably would have just required one less mistake on his part or the part of players) from people being pretty happy with his improvement. As is usually the case, things are not as good or bad as fans think in the moment.

We did some good things this year. We did some bad things that overshadowed the good things. Last year we basically had nothing but bad. Hopefully we will have some additional improvements this next year.

in your poll, where does the "General Manager" controlling the roster and NIL factor in?

*I really can't vote for either
