Moments like this are why I want to grab the coach and slap the **** out of him, maybe to see if he's asleep or not

This has the feel of our normal last inning "let the other team walk it off" game. Very familiar.
I know we are thin in the bullpen, but if you are a coach, you talk to your pitcher... to delay the game to give guys in the bullpen time to warm up, you just don't set him out there like a piece of meat for take a bite of. That was a horrible inning of coaching. Remember that point in time come the end of May.
Yet let a run go by early last night that would've scored if he'd have challenged the play at first. Just sat in his mitt way too long.
