Colin's Last Stand is a history and/or politics talk of about 20 minutes that happens 1-2 times per week. I like the way the guy that does it talks and thinks and he researches it and it's interesting. And he doesn't yell and he always encourages people to be civil to each other in the comments. And his tag line at the end of each show is "Keep on learning."
This is what cable TV ought to be. Instead we get conspiracy theories on the History Channel and reality shows on A&E and hyperpartisan yellfests on CNN and MSNBC and Fox News. Why should I pay for the garbage on cable when I can get this good stuff for free?
I first saw this guy on The Rubin Report, which is another discussion show where there's never any yelling and you can get it for free too, except I give him $5 per month on Patreon, but I don't have to.
He doesn't get to the substance until about one minute in.
