I have know Stansbury personally for years. He is a great man who has done many great things for this University. And above all of this, he is an amazing father. But tonight, none of this matters. We have just had, perhaps, the two most embarrassing back-to-back losses in MSU history. I am deeply afraid that if Sidney doesn't get eligible (which I still don't think will happen), that we may not win another SEC game. With the injuries, we have no depth. Our guys are wearing down. We also have beautiful set plays from out of bounds, but that seems to be the limit of the assistant coaches ability. Now I am not calling for Stansbury to be fired. But we need fresh blood at one of the assistant coach positions. Someone who can give us some life. Oh, and we better find a couple of big men in the off season. Anyway, this is pretty much just a stream of consciousness, but I am embarrassed. I will get over it.

Coach34, I rarely agree with you, but tonight makes it really hard to disagree.

but tonight Stans chose not to use it. We can't put Wendell in for 5 minutes? Instead we went with Augustus at the "5".

The depth argument is a farse.

Our problem is that we don't know what the hell we are doing. We were clearly better than the team we played tonight. Up 10 with about 6 to play.

Maybe they'll bring some energy to the program. And they are young, so surely they still have their vocal chords in tact.

where C34 says Kodi is good. Cuz he's not. (Kodi - I know you aren't reading this, but, stop dribble driving, play tough defenese, block out, get excited about rebound put-back baskets and sit back and watch as you become an actual player).

and we had a week to prepare for Bama and 4 days to prepare for Ark. With our schedule we should be 4-1 at worst right now in SEC play (& we beat the best team we've played at their place.) If we are tired with playing 2 games in 11 days we are in trouble.

yes he shot the ball horribly, and I also think he is getting worse as the year goes on...but a double-double is a double-double

Our coaching on the offensive side of the ball is horrid...and that is causing alot of the problems we have</p>

How is that any different from any of the other flawed players on the team? Jarvis has one shot, the jump hook. Barry has the spot up 3 and the throw up a prayer shot while making it appear he got fouled. Phil has nothing but the 25 foot 3. Dee has a decent mid range shot when he chooses to use it but most of the time he drives to the rim and throws up a prayer. Ravern is all or nothing from the 3 point line.<div>
</div><div>On top of that we have NOBODY that can dribble, INCLUDING Dee, yet when we are up late in a game, Stansbury insists on draining 30 seconds off the shot clock which either results in a turnover (dribble off the foot or a steal off the sloppy dribbling) or a prayer 3 point shot.</div><div>
</div><div>We have a scrappy playground team that has no discipline, marginal basketball skills, good shooting ability and play in the perfect conference, the ****** SEC.</div>
