it contradicts some things on the wikipedia page. Not sure which one is right or wrong though....

Ray was born in Compton, Calif., a place notorious for gangs and crime. At age 6, his father moved the family to Kansas City to get away from that scene, finding whatever work he could to support the family.

Edited to Add: Not intended as a flame... just want to make sure you have the right facts up there. Good start on the wiki page.

I actually wrote the article several days ago and the only thing I could find was something saying that Rick Ray was a Kansas City native. So I put it in there. Compton, CA is in there now.

I can't help but like Rick Ray. He seems like the perfect coach for us and can set a great "rags to riches" example for our players. And I have a feeling he won't put up with a lot ... he'll be the boss. And that's just the way it should be.<div>

I trust Stricklin and was definitely confused when Rick Ray was announced... but for everyone to throw their arms up and quit was just turrible.

The more I read about Ray, the more I like... but then again, I'm not going to be sold on Ray until I see his teams compete.
