I didn't expect to win. I WANTED to win and I BELIEVED we at least had chance. But just as much as I didn't expect to win, I never expected to be embarrassed.

Bama could do that to almost any team in the nation. They're that good. I was just hoping we wouldn't get embarrassed too bad. But I was afraid this might happen.

This sounds ridiculous... but the #webelieve thing had a lot to do with motivating Bama. The thing is, from here on out, we don't have a guaranteed win. I enjoyed the hell out of being undefeated on week 8, but there was absolutely no way we were going to fly under the radar with Bama. OM did... they had been manhandled by Bama in years past, and they caught OM early enough that they sleptwalked through most of the game. Us, on the other hand, came in with a little bit of a hot head about being undefeated and a vocal coach, a vocal fanbase, a little prodding (putting signs and tshirts everywhere, including the current coach's statue on their campus), and a hyped up game. We wouldn't get the same breaks they did... period. We knew Bama would be up for this game.
