I don't even believe the corrupt media can use these 2005 returns to make Trump look bad

I think this will Boomarang against liberals. Americans will begin to see this for what it is. People willing to commit felonies to go after their political enemy. NBC will come out of this looking particularly bad.

This will create even more distrust of government because people will, rightly or wrongly, blame the IRS. It will create sympathy for Trump in that his privacy was violated. He can actually brag that he pays more in taxes as a percentage than the Obamas. Not a good night for liberals.

I think it shows how crazy the tax code is. You make 150 million and a quarter of that (more than most folks earn) gets turned over to the IRS and the Left still claims the rich don't pay their "fair share"?

It just may cause a legitimate tax revolt which would be fine in my book!

But you were only looking at federal income taxes. What about state income taxes, city income taxes, property taxes, sales taxes, etc. Trump paid a huge amount of money in taxes that year.

Remember that time the board expert told us how Trump was hiding his tax returns because he really didnt have the money he claimed?
I always figured that was his motivation for not releasing them to be honest. I think his personality would have him caring more about the portrayal of his successful image than if the tax return showed him paying off underage Thai boys for sex.

I always figured he wanted the campaign to be more about what he wanted to do than why he claimed a loss in 200whenever and then when it became apparent that not releasing them was not hurting his numbers but it was driving his haters nuts he said eff em.

Hadn't thought about it that way. Makes as much sense as anything else.

Worst case, it shows him using loopholes to reduce his taxable income. Shocker!! That's exactly the same thing everyone else who takes deductions outside of the standard stuff is trying to do.

I'm sure you wish all that were true. The Trump team provided this return, not sure why anyone would think differently. It was cherry picked, 2 pages, he paid taxes and it's 12 years old, not much to see really. Trump hopes this will engage his supporters to say there's nothing to see keep moving. Congressional investigators should subpoena his recent ones for their Russian/Trump team election rigging investigation and end the BS.

Hahahaha, good lord. Hey, I'm gonna come over to your house and fish through all of your **** until I find something I can charge you with. You good with that?

Why do they need to subpoena them from Trump? Doesn't the IRS have them on file?

If you're investigating Trump for Russian ties, one place to look is his tax returns to see if there are Russian connections there. I'm surprised that you've not heard that mentioned before. If they don't need a subpoena to get them then all the better.

He deducted a trip to Moscow. Real suspicious stuff. Investigate! Hold hearings! Impeach him!

Find out why he even talks to Russians? That's grounds for treason!

Put him in jail for aiding and abetting our biggest enemy!

Romney was right Dammit, and we on the Left now see that!

Impeach Trump!

Where better to put your nefarious activities other than your tax returns that you know will be audited by the government.

It is flat out comical to me the long straws the Left keeps grasping at trying to make something out of nothing with Trump and the freaking Russians.

It's absolutely hysterical.

What's next?

Trump has written Putin into his will as a primary beneficiary?

What a bunch of sycophants.
