They did make the point that "no one could have done anything against that defense"- that may be true, but you have to at least try.

It would be different if JJ was actually a good quarterback, but LSU has won this year in spite of him. Lee is not any better, but it's not like you are benching Joe Montana. With the way they were getting shut down, you have to try something to create a spark. That was ridiculous.

He's done what you've asked of him all year. You know Jefferson can't get it done. To me you have to give Lee a chance. Probably wouldn't have made a difference, but once it's clear that Jefferson can't get it done, why not try something different?
