I don't guess I really have any reason to feel this way...

but I feel the exact same way as I did back in the late 90's now. Going into each game, I just feel like we have a really good chance to actually win the game, no matter the opponent. That being said, it makes losing these kind of games that much harder to take. I'm so 17'n sick of moral victories.

We've got to go out and somehow pull the shocker of all times and beat LSU next Saturday. And then come home and beat Georgia. I really think we've got the players and the coaches to get it done, but we must turn the corner and actually get the damn job done! Finebaum was right today. Somebody from Georgia said something to the effect of...'Mississippi State's not a bad team, it's not like they're the bottom feeders of the SEC anymore - they'll probably go bowling this year', to which Finebaum replied, 'so what? you buy 3 wins, then beat Vandy, UK and OM or something to get to 6 wins. Big deal.'

I guess 6-6 and the stupid *** Birmingham Bowl would show 'improvement', but screw 'showing improvement'. It's time to win these kinds of games and stop shooting ourselves in the damn foot. Last night was our game for the taking and we simply blew it.

because this year unfortunately we don't get the luxury of playing Vandy so we will have to find someone else to pick up that 6th win. And I will feel more like I did in the late 90s when we actually BEAT one of these teams that we all think we can beat but then don't. And I don't count the OM game last year because I felt they were overrated all year anyway.

just turn it your MSU **** right now.
Yes, it could happen, but otherwise for now, accept where we are, know where wehave been, and understand that we are much better off than we were two years ago.

45-0.

but I still do. We just gotta start winning these damn games. Especially the ones at home where the talent differential isn't all that big.
