But they are the only team left in NU's footprint. I don't root for UNC. I root against Calipari. Oregon has puke colored unis. Florida sucks and South Carolina is South Carolina. I guess the Jayhawks for now. I guess Gonzaga if Kansas falls. Anyone else have a hard time rooting for these teams?

I'd love to see a guy from Wilber, Nebraska take a team to the F4.

I wonder how Creighton fans feel.
Are they rooting for Altman and Oregon or do they want Oregon to lose because Altman left them?

Man, Frank Mason getting absolutely zero help and yet he's single-handedly keeping KU within shouting distance.

I think the ones who actually knew him are rooting for him, and they should because the program was in the worst shape it had been in my lifetime when he took over. But I'm sure there are a percentage of them who are bitter. A certain amount never forgave him for the Arkansas incident.

Oregon makes 2 fairly lucky 3s to close the half or they'd be up 5. However, Oregon's match up zone does what Syracuse has done to teams in the tourney.

KU in basically a home game will make this a battle late but I'm cheering for the Ducks in this one.

Also helps (I think) for UNC to have a better path to the championship.

Well, I don't know him and don't like Oregon.

Switching defenses during the game. What a concept.

It's actually a match-up zone which doesn't mean switching it up. It's a system where guys play a zone concept in that they cover an area of the floor but they play with man to man principles.

I didn't see the whole first half, but I don't think they exclusively played that in the first half. I could be wrong.

Ducks have gone into the prevent offense. They need to keep attacking the hoop.

Thats fine, just as long as KU lost the game. I get there an old team we used to get blasted by but its very easy not to toot for them. And 2nd, with KU out it will make my Tarheels trip to championship that mich easier. I didnt like that match up of KU vs UNC. Tarheels seem to struggle against KU and there live by the 3 and die by the 3 thinking.
