However, the seconddaughter had the most interesting answer. She is an
accomplished gymnast and is already being talked to by colleges. She likes
Georgia, UCLA and Oregon State, but she said she is definitely not considering
Arkansas because "there's no way I'm wearing a picture of that ugly pig on
my leotard"!

I guess symbols really can hurt recruiting.</span></p>

Edit: re-reading the context clues, the female in question is probably quite young. Perhaps I should amend my statement to "dumb slut in training," assuming her father is totally cool with his youngest striving to party from a young age.

Any of you trying to read into what a teenage womanis saying started off on the wrong foot. Understanding their motivations or thoughts is a mystery and will forever be. Calling a kid that age a slut or retardedbecause she would like to be around other pretty women and she likes parties is absurd. Hell, ask 16 year old me about what school I wanted to go to and her requirements would absolutely be in my top three reasons.

My daughters are all adopted from China. That's one of the appeals of UCLA and Oregon State for her. Both teams have several Asian gymnasts and she was attracted to that.

The UCLA girls were all really fun and open and showed her a great time. Anna Li, one of the Olympic gymnasts, spent time with my daughter and talked up UCLA in a big way. The Oregon State girls were really down to earth and easy going. My daughter didn't like Florida (way too arrogant) or Arkansas (because of the pig symbol). Her dream team is Georgia but they don't usually offer scholarships to in-state gymnasts. Maybe their new coaching staff will change that policy.
