I know a couple of them that aren't that bad which makes it easier for me to root for them. When talking to the ones I'm pretty sure you're referring to, they make me wish they get the death penalty.<div>

I'll agree with that statement 100%. There are many of our "true believers" that I cannot stand to be around.
My whole life I've been pretty ambivalent about AU. Butthe last 2 years have changed all that; I can't stand to see Gene Chizik or hear him talk, and the same goes for Cecil Newton, Cam and any Auburn fan who wants to calmly explain to me how $$ was only talked about at State, but the sheer honor of playing at AU was enoughfor Cecil to let him play there gratis.Losing to them the last two years in the midst of all this hasn't helped. I hate them now. Would honestly have to think about records, conf standings, etc. to decide who I'd hold my nose and pull for. Fairly sure I would want to be drunk before the end of the game.
I've always rooted for Auburn against the evil overlords Alabama, but the last 2 years have changed everything. I know that what's worst for ole miss is best for us in almost all situations, but it will be tough to not just hope an earthquake swallows them both up when they play each other now.
In short, I would give a slight nod to auburn over ole miss, but I'd root for the taliban over either.

...long before I knew I'd be attending USM (which was something I'd not expected), I pulled for the Eagles in those games.
And had a football player in one of my classes, and whenever the subject of football teams came up, a lot of the students weren't shy about laughing at the thought of Southern not really being relevant. I thought that was kind of funny personally, but since it was summer classes, I'm pretty sure that doesn't help speak for the majority of the fans that walk campus.
My experience is that about 1/4 of their fanbase is pretty level headed. the other 3/4 are total <span style="text-decoration:line-through">nutjobs</span> LSU fans.
