Taken from my FB page www.facebook.com/rockyvaughan :So I went to MSU Ath Dept today to pick up, what I thought were, my "Tickets" for the MSU/aTm game tmrw. Not only did the Dept give me "Tickets", they also threw in Sideline Passes, The actual GameDay jersey, and The Special Helmet Itself. As if that weren't enough, Joe Galbraith (MSU Marketing) takes me upstairs to meet Scott Stricklin (Ath Director). Casually chatting it up with Scott were State Greats- Coach Jackie Sherrill and Fred Smoot. Now, I've bumped a few elbows with celebrities during my stint in Nashville but I've never been starstruck like like this. It was an overwhelming joy and honor to stand in that office and chat with those men. It was by total suprise and surpassed my expectations. And quite honestly, Better than I even hoped for. Thank you Gentlemen (Coach Sherrill, Fred, Scott, and Joe) for taking time with me today. And thank you, Mississippi State University for representing a place of Class and Integrity. Its sincerely an honor to love and cheer for you. #HailState #SnowBowl12



Sorry guys, I didnt wanna type all that again. Im not a "Typer". Thank you sixpack for giving me an outlet to display and express some ideas/opinions.​

Proud of you and our athletic department for this.

I hope we see more Chillbilly designs at MSU in the future.

Man that is awesome Chill!! So glad to hear you're getting the love!! Thanks for your hard work again I'm excited to see this game and uniforms, please show Scott the maroon one you posted last night too.

I saw them tweet that photo this afternoon, and I was really thrilled for you, especially after the thread a day or two ago about this. That had to be an awesome experience.

I've shaken Jackie's hand a few times at games, and his his hands are huge. They completely swallow mine. It's hard to appreciate how big these guys are until you get up close.

And I see Smoot hasn't gotten any purtier ... he may be the greatest ambassador/athlete the university has ever had, with his personality and playing talent.

That's really neat. It seems that everything our Athletic Department does is extremely professional. Are they gonna hire ya?

Yeah, Jackie always had the last word during a post-game handshake.

Once he had the other coach's hand, there was no way they were going anywhere until he was finished saying what he wanted to say.

It's a great knowing that the athletic department not only listens to the fans but took the time to thank one for a great idea!
