I had a strange dream last night. I dreamed we beat Georgia and Florida in the same season with the Florida win being in the Swamp. Also dreamed we nearly beat the BCS number 1 team, Auburn, 17-14. The dream kept going, seemed like it would never end. We were 6-2, facing a good bowl game, talk of Sugar and Cotton, Peaches and Gators, with some people trying to figure out what it would take for us to get to the SEC championship game. In the dream, we were ranked in all of the polls and 21st in the BCS standings, not to mention having won all of our out of conference games for the first time in my life. I also dreamed we played our third game in a row without a turnover and that we had 8 consecutive home game sellouts.
I woke up this morning realizing it was just a dream, having been told that all of that was impossible at MSU. Oh well, I guess I'll get back to the routine 2-6 record, no ranking, no hope of a bowl, 25,000 people at games and being the laughingstock in the SEC, having to wait till basketball season. Good dream though.
