Those of you acting like the injury makes next season a wash havent been watching. Next season was already a wash. Taylor will miss the spring but make it back by September and he will be improved, but we will still suck and he will transfer to a contender for his JR year. And we will have a new coach and another rebuild.

Probably right but Lebby deserves blame for putting KT in that situation
Lebby should have been fired Thanksgiving weekend 2025. This game simply proved he is not a head coach.

I’m guessing Taylor will play next year. No idea if that is opening game or not. But OP is correct, Taylor was not going to salvage lebby’s job here. Lebby is just a terrible coach who has no idea what he’s doing. The switch to Taylor was a Hail Mary to save his job and buy some goodwill with the fans. But the gig is up for Lebby next year, with or without Taylor.
That’s a little dramatic. You don’t know that and it’s highly unlikely anyone would know that at this point.

Cohen was at least smart enough to put an end to the Moorhead Error after the abysmal 2019 Music City Bowl. Had that not happened, I speculated thar we would have been 0-10 or at best 1-9 in a 10 game SEC schedule in 2020. I think we are about to bottom out to that level next year.
KT will redshirt next year and we'll fire Lebby in October or early November
