I wonder if he's tired of people like me talking about how he can't beat a Big Boy in the SEC West...

If we can sneak out of Red Stick with the victory, it will be his first Top 20 win...

Me? Not so much. I'll watch because I always watch and have gotten old enough that I no longer throw things. No expectations at all except my pot of red beans n rice will be choice.

You can bet your *** he had this game circled for a long time. He wanted to get to 3-0 with no injuries and without showing too much. I have a feeling we are going to see what we all been wanting to see out of this team. Except for kicking I feel we are about to really show out.

So the word on the street is that we've been missing those field goals and extra points on purpose, so as to not reveal too much before the SEC schedule? Makes sense ....

I know you're being cute and all, but we've been over this several times. Ole Miss finished at #20 in 2009. That was Mullen's first top 20 win.

I'll never understand why being cute is so important to you that you'll make your own coach sound worse -- some people who read this won't realize it and may believe Mullen really doesn't have a "top 20" (as if that's even a real thing) win.

If we can win this one, it'll be a solid Top 10 win. 5 of the Top 10 teams are from the SEC West and we play all of them. If we beat any of them, they'll no longer be Top 10 though.

Per Espn and the coaches poll the Bears were not in the Top 20. Look it up. Now isn't that cute. The truth hurts, but it's the truth. I didn't make it up.

The BCS never had a final poll, so it's irrelevant to this discussion. You're may the only person in the country who thinks the Coaches' Poll is more accurate than the AP, but since it advances your made-up nonexistent "top 20 barrier" agenda, I shouldn't be surprised.

Mullen has a top 20 win, period. To say otherwise is a lie, and it's really pathetic to lie about our own coach, on today of all days, just to keep playing your cute Internet persona.

In other words you're using the poll that best fits your argument. Preferring the Coaches poll over the AP is incredibly stupid. There's plenty of examples of coaches (or the person they pick in their staff to vote for them) putting teams in their top 25 that shouldn't. I'll give you an example, this year Gary Patterson put Memphis in his top 25 after week one because Justin Fuentes was on his coaching staff before coming to Memphis.

Yes, but if LSU tanks because this game (like Florida '10 or Tennessee '12) let's all still recognize this as a good win for Mullen.

(And this isn't really directed at you -- it's directed at the board as a whole, and moreso to some other posters.)
