I have a feeling we get slaughtered this weekend. I'm thinking

something along the lines of 31-10. Hopefully, we will be able to slow down the run but we aren't going to be able to stop the pass. Our offense will do nothing. Who knows, if we punt the ball well it may be closer.

This is not Croom/Mcorvey any more. Our offense showed nothing on Saturday. With AD back we will be even better. I know it is easy to get sucked in to the fact that we expect to suck but deadgum it we can win this game. Stop being so <17>ing negative. GO STATE!!!

but what makes you think we'll get pressure. I don't see it.

Did you watch the La Tech game? That game was close until the 90 yd TD pass. Auburn's D had no sacks during that game, and gave up about 150 yds on the ground. Now, I am not saying that La Tech has a better or worse OL than us, but I think we should be able to handle our on. Todd had no pressure in that game, and I am betting that we have a much better DL and LB's than La Tech.

our D-line and linebackers will provide pressure. Maybe not a lot of sacks but Todd won't sit back there. Their WRs are not world beaters and yes, our corners suck, but hopefully there will be a balance somewhere.

And, yes, I expect to score.

So, we'll see...

but ellis johnson and cheese were able to show how vulnerable their QBs were the past two years. I think if Torbush mixes in some blitz packages which he says he will, we will be chasing their quarterbacks on more than one occasion. Our dline is nothing special but it can hold it's ground and Mcphee showed that he can do some damage on the end (The refs need to be more fair to him and call holding because that was all JSU did to him). We could definitely send some blitzes from the outside and thwart todd and burns a good bit.

And I think one more thing that will help favor us on defense is that our defense has been facing these schemes all offseason agaisnt our own offense. Auburns offense is very similar to our own so I won't be surprised if this game is yet again another defensive struggle.

I dont care how we looked saturday and how bad they looked, auburn is still auburn. They still have quality players, and I am sure that Tubby recruited better than slytanic did.

...but I think both teams will score more than two TD's. I think a close score something like 27-24 is possible, going either way.
