I’m thinking you’re right. Called a traitor reb fan I’m friends with and an ex athlete there and he said Jeremiah Johnson is permanent. Run on sentence on purpose

Golding is the permanent solution until he isn’t. Meaning if they see a better opportunity, or he takes a step back the isn’t part will kick in. I thought they should have named him interim, then they should have conducted a national coaching search. I get the calendar is the decider now, but their brand is as hot as it has been in a while.

He’s permanent like Arnett was permanent. This has all the initial appearances it will work out about as well for them as it did for us.

I'm not seeing anything about a buyout.

they're paying that goofball with zero head coaching experience $7 MM ??????????? what in the actual 17
Talk about competing with yourself. nobody would even be coming after him at $3 MM. good lord, they're dumb as a box of bricks

The sting of the PR hit that left you at the altar. The positive PR calvary are circling the wagons and trying to rally the troops.

Petey had that Kiffin dirt to help secure 6.8 Mil in Oxford plus incentives. Bo said this morning it was a 5 year contract. A keep quiet on kiff guaranteed coaching payoff of sorts.....

Man, he better beat Tulane. Realistically, he’s Arnett 2.0. 1 year then they are back in the coaching market.
We won a bowl game with Greg Knox at the helm. Sometimes talent just overwhelms coaching. They'll beat Tulane, which will only add to their cockiness after what could possibly be the easiest schedule in the history of P4 teams.

it'll just make next year's fall off of the cliff that much more glorious, and UGA will pummel them in rd 2

I'm sure Golding knew what the Rebels offered Lane. He probably told them he would step up and keep the ship moving forward for half of what they were going to pay Lane.

Didn't Louisville have a QB who has won this little known award called the NFL MVP?

That doesn’t make sense….you further delay the coaching carousel and get the sloppy leftovers?
