How come most recruiting threads are populated with posts by low count posters? I just don't understand why people who follow their team would only put their opinion into threads that involved recruiting.

Maybe there is a case here simply because your original question is recruiting posts related but post count is a touchy subject to some. You and I are good examples. Neither of us are up there in the C34 realm but that is because we read more and post less.
Your point would have probably hit home more if you had pointed out these guys usually have single digit post counts, but they probably would have made fun of that as well.
