Find the Msu Georgia score when domique Wilkins was a sr. The year before the shot clock. We had Tom schuberth. Both teams ended the game below 30 PTs. We held the ball in a stall for nearly 12 minutes while they were in a zone. Every one got in free due to the ice and snow.

'82-'85 for me, The Boyd Era. EVERY game was like that, it was the only way to stay in the ballgame w/ the big boys. Hold the ball until Jeff Malone got an open jumper and let him take it. It wasn't always fun to watch but it kept us from getting blown out. All of the games were free for students then, go over during the week and flash your id and get a freebie then on game day walk right in.

Try 1/13/82: Georgia 26, MState 20.

Brutal. In those days we would start a possession and I could go to the men's room, go to the concession stand for a Bryan sausage dog and a Coke, come back to my seat, and we would still be on the same possession.

Which makes it even more amazing that Malone averaged 24 points per game his senior year. Without a 3-point line. He would have averaged 28 with the line. He was incredible to watch.

26-20 game: I could not pick Jack up on the radio that night so I listen to...

Georgia's Hall of Fame announcer Larry Munson, on AM 7500 out of Atalanta that night. Let me tell you I wish I had it recorded, it was a real treat. He was pissed!!

He should have been pissed. That was a travesty to the game. Still not as bad as what Dean Smith did to Duke one year though. The halftime score was 7-0 Duke. In the second half he realized he would have to try to score to have a chance and wound up losing 47-40.
