All three of our starting linebackers are part of what Holgorsen inherited. I notice you don't mention either line or attempt to specify where the depth is better.

I think our offensive line has more depth now, even though Barclay was/is solid. Orlosky and Pankey stand out, and there are some promising young guys on the team. The DL was better in 2011. I think we are much deeper and more talented at LB and DB now. As I mentioned, I would take our current RBs over 2011.

While it's almost impossible to pick any wr group over a team that had Tavon and Sted, I'm very interested to see how the current guys develop. We got very limited production out of that 2011 group outside of the top 2. I'm hesitant to even discuss QB. Geno is clearly WAY ahead of everybody else we have seen at the position since him, including the 2 who backed him up.

The oline can't even put 5 solid starters on the field and we have 1 sub who plays at all when it matters. It's one of our biggest weaknesses.

He hoodwinked everybody by immediately throwing his 2012 team under the bus and saying nonsensical things like "The Big 12 has more talent. We need to get better." That was just an amazing thing for people to buy after watching their own team destroy Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl. I've never forgiven them for that. It was an insult to everybody who backed the program during the Big East days.
