We will do better.
There has been something missing On The Banks for the last 4 years. No Top 10 NJ Recruits.
This will change immediately.

Bold statement before actually knowing the new coaches name
Bold Statement ???
We have been Zero for 40 with NJ recruits for the last 4 years.
HS Coaches had abandoned Flood long ago.
It can only get better.

I'll believe it when I see it, although I love the movie Miracle on 34th Street, this time of year

It's probably McDaniels as Schiano knows the family through Bellicheck. Keep the momentum and gain a few more...

The 44th/52bd ranked class in the nation?
Ok you're right..just let the entire current 2016 class walk because it's not ranked high enough for you! It's 2 months from signing day and most of the top talent has already committed elsewhere but I'm sure the new coach could come in and recruit a better class from scratch.

The point is the current class obviously is not great but it is sufficient to at minimum maintain the status quo. If they lose the current class that will set the program back even more than what Flood has done. It will be up to the new coach to improve upon recruiting starting with the 2017 class.

More than a few RU verbals had one foot out the door at this point anyway.

Relax. The "entire class" isn't leaving nor do I want it to, just making a point, have no desire for any members of this staff to stay too long.

That's great news. We need to keep Russo.

Not necessarily. Yes if we stay with Pro set. Perhaps not if some other system such as Spread. Just have to wait for new HC to be hired and see what O philosophy will be and type of QB that best fits it.

We need to keep the receivers too, sorry Grant, Patton and company is not good enough. Mack could be a star from what I have read.

Barchi told players new coach will be hired quickly which means he'll have time to recruit and make decisions. This is not Schiano leaving 1 second before signing day. I'm sure the new AD understands the importance of timing to allow the new coach to build staff and recruit. If we lose any current commits so be it. We had just a great of chance of losing the commits with Flood on thin ice after the results of this season anyway.

That's a good point. I was just sort of assuming that the new coach would stay at least somewhat pro set since the team's not really built for a spread offense.
