I have never understood how people don't understand the mentality of wanting to lose for the good of the program. If losing guarantees flood being fired I definitely want them to. How does that not make sense to people? I guess if you think losing won't get him fired which could be right then you wouldn't want them to lose.
Anyway looks like they are going to beat an awful maryland team and act like it's an accomplishment.

Here's a hypothetical question though... If there really was an ultimatum that if Flood wins this game, he keeps his job, but if he loses, we bring in a new coach -- what would you say? Do the ends justify those means?

Of course. This is a no brainer. Why would anyone want this head coach back just to beat a 2 win team?
True...but if that's the case..Flood ain't the problem and a new coach ain't the solution.
Well sources said he was as good as gone and then the Army victory gave some people pause so, yes, I do think his future is game to game. Has been that way in the end of the prior two season finales.

I don't understand how any coach can do this to any player moral. Flood had a great opportunity to see what his backup QB can do when clearly thats was what the fans
Wanted. Yet instead bring back his starter only to get booed further lowering the moral of both QBs and the fans. I can see why people want him gone because he speakers FAMILY, but isn't his backup QB part of this FAMILY? And with that hard hit, shouldn't he give his starter more time just make sure he is ok?
