Didn't break 100 yards in any game last year, and only topped 60 yard receiving twice.

Moncrief, I guess. He averaged about 25 yards per game more than Treadwell, although Treadwell had more catches.

i get it....he is a bear and all, but he is really good and that was only his freshmenz attempt. a team could build around his talent alone. im no bear expert, but i dont recall him dropping a pass all year. im sure someone could prove me wrong if they tried really hard, but dude can play.

He's really good. As for the no drops thing, it's pretty easy to catch screen passes. I'm sure if they use him more downfield, he'll drop some.

Oh man the true freshman opposite a 3rd round receiver (at another school) only had good numbers instead of great numbers? Thank god, I was worried his success was going to completely ruin our season, crisis averted.

I remember seeing him drop several in a few games. Which surprised me. He never looked as good as Moncrief to me. (Moncrief seemed to have an unbelievable ability to snatch the ball out of the air even when the defender was in better position). Treadwell had a few drops where he was looking to run upfield before he secured the ball (freshmen mistake). I'm sure Treadwell will show considerable improvement this year from last. He's going to be very good, but I laugh when I read on other boards that Ole Miss will not miss Moncrief.

They won't miss moncrief anymore than we missed renfroe in baseball this year
