That is reason number 445 as to why this field is such a joke. They call it a warning track for a reason. Making it a different color does not fulfil that reason. In fact, why isn't the entire field one color?

Pretty sure the warning track at the new Dude is turf, sadly.

But the outfield is grass so there’s a difference when you go from the grass to the warning track. Vandy’s entire field is artificial turf so there’s no different feel that lets the outfielder know he’s about to smash into the wall.

That’s true. I understand the reasoning for the turf but I guess I’m old school. I like the crushed brick / rocks / whatever warning track.
