trying to 17 with us. Hiring Mullen and Cohen has stirred these mf'ers up bigtime. They know the free ride is over. They no longer feel sorry for us and laugh because of Crooms. This is the way it is supposed to be.

The Dark Ages are over and life is back how it should be. 17 you Rebels, we're on our way back

He hasn't proven anything as an AD. Anybody could have come in as a 1st year AD and basically told one of the 2 most influential baseball coaches in SEC history to go <17> himself. And anybody could have told a miserable failure of a football coach to take a hike 1 year after winning COTY honors and hired a (potentially) 2-time national championship coach to take his place. Or so I've heard.

I make a concerted effort to post now, because things have changed. We had a meeting, and decided that we must be more dastardly and rebel-like because now we fear the future.

I like the Hudspeth hire, but do me a favor, get a complete staff before smack talking.

This time last year all we heard was how MSU was back and how you all were going to be the SEC West champs this year and blah blah blah 17ing blah. Now the shoe is on the other foot and now you are bitching about it, well tough ****. We arent any worse than you all were and at least we know our head coach is half worth a ****, all yours has done is follow around a good head coach to hold a clip board. Im glad you got rid of Croom because maybe the crying and whinning might calm a bit, but seriously let the guy be a head coach a day before you decide you are good.

wanted to see Croom do it again before they pronounced that we "were back". The only person I know of that was talking about winning the SEC West was Croom himself.

We ENJOYED last year, and rightfully so, well all maybe except Coach34, but that's his loss.

I just think it's crazy that Ole Miss people don't think that State should enjoy it when we do something good on an MSU message board. Also, most teams are excited about a new coach, unless you're Auburn.

I mean, if Coach O had the year that Nutt had this year, you would be happy to. Ironically, we would want to see him do it again if he was our coach, and you would put out a coffee table book.

If you don't want to read about MSU fans being happy, don't come here.

Lets look at it this way. How many years have you been playing football? How many bowls have you been to? Waiting.

Wrong. What would we like to return to?

1998 Season

In 1998, MSU won the SEC Western Division Championship and competed in the 1998 SEC Championship Game, leading Tennessee in the fourth quarter before falling 24-14 before 74,000 fans in the Georgia Dome. They continued on to play in the AT&T Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas, against a heavily favored Texas Longhorns team. The Bulldogs lost the game 38-11.

1999 Season

The 1999 Bulldog team finished their season with a 10-2 record, earning a final ranking of #12 nationally. They defeated Clemson in the Peach Bowl, 17-7. That #12 ranking is the highest final ranking of any FBS Division team in the State of Mississippi in over 30 years.

2000 Season

The 2000 Bulldogs finished 8-4 (4-4) in what would be Jackie Sherrill's final winning season at MSU. The team reached the 2000 Independence Bowl where, under snowy conditions, they pulled out an exciting 43-41 overtime victory over Texas A&M.

This would be a start.

Hell I even took all of last year with a grain of salt because, well neither of us had been real successful for a while, but the way you all have gushed over your new AD and every little thing he has done has been, to say the least, comical. Of course you should be happy that things are getting done at all, and maybe you all were so use to LT sucking the life out of you, but even Boone did some of the same things and we can all agree Boone sucks. Your AD aside though, how many threads do you need to be happy about 1 coach? Also how many times in these endless threads are you going to talk about how bad you are going to own Ole Miss now? Neither of these new coaches has coached a day at MSU, and Mullen has done nothing but carry a clip board his entire career. Hell he hasnt even finished putting together a staff yet and some MSU posters are saying Ole Miss is scared of him like he is some great coach. Please tell me what we have to be afraid of? The fact that the last 2 times we played against him were a close loss when O, the shittiest coach of all, was here and us going to the Swamp and upsetting his vaunted offense.

This is longer than I meant for it to be, so in closing the reason I am over here is there is generally more sports talk on this board and I do like to talk sports.

First of all great name. Kinda like Dirk Digler. I'm just stating that MSU is a losing football program. Prove me wrong. I'm sure you can put up the over all record of your team. Now if you don't want to answer that's fine. I really don't blame you.

You really suck at, well everything. When you argue sports you get shot down and now you try to be condescending prick, oh well you are good at that, and it makes you look like a 17ing retard. The sad thing is you go to Nafoom and say the same **** and for some reason you think you are the cool guy. The only thing I think when I read any of your posts is "wow that little kids probably needs a nap". Learn to talk to people like a grown up and others will do the same in return. Keep acting like a 10 year old and thats how you will be treated.

I miss one letter and you somehow think I need a spelling, and possibly grammar lesson. I guess you dont read message boards often or you would realize that type of thing happens quite often. I realize you are just trying to make me feel dumb, but you are really just being a douche and its kind of sad.

Just trying to help you out. Anyway, my response was to PineBelt's post. He said we've never had a winning program and I was proving him wrong. You jumped in saying I was hanging my hat on a loss in the SEC Championship Game. I could say that the one that jumps into a thread with a smartass post that adds nothing to the thread and without trying to understand the meaning of my post is the one that looks like a douche, but why bother.
