Hate to see them mentioning Hudspeth already, Hud is on the fast track

we may have trouble reeling him in when the time comes, and it will come.

"He's not Arkansas quality". I agree with that ... he's much higher. A move from MSU to Arkansas would, at best, be a lateral.

Arkansas isn't near the gig they think it is.....

They can pay but so can everybody else. Coaches are looking for 3 things: money, proximity to talent, and loyalty. Arkansas has one of those things. They are not a top tier program and never will be. Bobby Petrino is a great coach but he is definitely a rented mule. He's never been a program builder, history bears that out. While he's there, he'd golden. Compare to Saban, wherever he is will win well after he's gone. But even Saban would have a tough time building Arkansas up and keeping it there due to the lack of players in that state.

After our stadium expansion MSU will be just as favorable for any coach as Arkansas, maybe even more so. So much easier to recruit.

There is nothing and I mean nothing in the whole flea bitten state of Mississippi that now or ever has to take a back seat to the nut suckers in Arkansas. They are the damndest bunch of cousin 17ing hillbillies mixed with redneck delta types that have ever joined up. Obviously their inbred ignorance has never benefited from a trip across state lines.

Have you ever heard of the Walton, or the Stephens family? Don't let your hatred for Arkansas blind you to the fact that it's an incredibly desirable program with mega-million $ donor families and incredible facilities. Also, although mucho-loco, the Arkansas fanbase is very loyal. What else in Arkansas do they have to support?

There are many jobs that Mullen would leave us for if offered, but I don't think Arkansas is one of them. I think they are rightfully seen as a bunch of crazy people after the Nutt saga and the shooting of Nolan Richardson's horse.

Yes, if you remember the end of his tenure, things got extremely nasty. He had bomb threats, was subjected to racial slurs, and someone shot his horse. They are nuts in Arkansas.

Loyal? I mean I get what you're saying but their whole 17ing state has a single major college program and no pro teams. So in that light, I guess you can say everyone supports the hogs in Arkansas. But I wouldn't call that loyalty. They ran Nutt out despite his decent record. Those hicks just think it is their God-given right to national championships. 5 weeks into the season and they want petrino back - a man who publicly embarrassed their school and AD. Winning to them is all that matters. I'm just shocked they didnt buy Cam. I just dont see many sane coaches wanting that gig.

My hatred for that fanbase is so complete, I could go on and on, but tis enough for one post. I hope they never win again.
