... think that with Skinner visiting Ole Miss this weekend they have a good chance of getting a commitment from him because he wants to be at Ole Miss. yet if Patterson would happen to sign with MSU it would be solely because he was bought. That place might be the most idiotic group of any fan base I have ever come across, and that is saying something with GenesPage out there as well

That's the same with every fanbase. We all have them. It's the whole "my program doesn't cheat, but everyone else does" attitude. Reality is "my program cheats, and so does everyone else".

It goes right along with the "my athletes are innocent and misunderstood" when they get arrested, and "your athletes are a bunch of murdering thugs" when they get arrested.

I think they like the idea of possibly taking a commit from you guys morethan they like him as a player. I'd personally rather see us sign Alex Williams more than Skinner.

But if you think it's just the OM Spirit posters who have been saying Patterson is being paid by the other school, you haven't been reading the sixpack very closely. Does that make sixpack " the most idiotic group of any fan base"? It's been said here many times.
