the evaluation process being more difficult because you don't see the 7 step drops, etc. Mullen told Newton we would put some of that in for him, but to no avail.

The fact is, 20 QB's from 20 different systems get drafted every year and maybe 1 ends up being a multi-year, effective starter in the NFL. I mean Brett Farve and Kurt Warner were 2 of the top QB's in the league last year and they are 40 years old.

wanting to run that pro system or whatever in college. You play to your strengths, that's what gets you noticed, that's what gets you drafted, system or no system. Wherever he goes, he's going to be a running QB, plain and simple.

Terrelle Pryor tried this **** when he chose Ohio State because of the system. He was unsuccessful. Until he realized that he's a runner. Call it developing, call it what you want.

If mfers want to play in the NFL, do what you do best, mold your game around it.

I mean, that's a pretty damn good answer, regardless of his QB's successes in the NFL. Saban's got no room to talk. His QB's are an afterthought in that offense.</p>
