Blackface has the face painted dark brown or black and the lips pink to caricature the appearance of African-Americans. Just putting brown paint on your skin doesn't make it blackface. I would probably not think anything other than damn that is awesome that someone is me for Halloween... I wouldn't be thinking damn that is so racist a black person painted himself white because I am white that is so racist...
