I observed Mr Pat Patterson tonight and it has reaffirmed my thoughts...

I think he believes he is God's gift to the receiver position. Tonight I watched as Logan Lowery (New Dawg's Bite Reporter) interviewed Shawnessey Smith while Pat Patterson waited impatiently on the opposite side of Smith. After no time whatsoever and Pat pointing at himself and talking over Smith to Lowery, Logan got them to switch seats and interviewed Pat. Logan was more than likely asking questions about recruiting (I would assume) and what school he would sign with. Pat had a clipboard and using his forearm to shield it scribbled something down. Then showed it to Lowery and laughed. I'm sure he was just playing with another Bulldog fan's emotions, but you could tell how happy it made him to keep yet another reporter in limbo. I believe we are better off without him. I believe his attitude and mindset will keep him from reaching his full potential. Pat is out for Pat, and he will sign on signing day with 5 or 6 different hats sitting in front of him. I don't know where he ends up, but look for a school where he won't have to share the spotlight with another top receiver. Oh, and he is definitely a football player, built like a brickhouse and was an absolute GOON on the basketball court tonight.

**On the opposite end of the spectrum, Shawnessey Smith was very well spoken and excited about coming to State and what the future holds as a Bulldog. **

I'd say a huge majority of players think they are God's gift to their position coming into college. They've been told for the last six months how incredible and important they are from teams all over the country. They're going to have egos.

The little cap game in the US Army game is an insult to fans. I would like to have a followup show where the same chump and his fat mom have to choose between a:

Burger King, McDonalds, Subway, or KFC hat

Apparently, there is quite and audience for it and the cap follies as well. When was the game, anyway?

It's one of the crazy extensions of recruiting game. And we all know how bat-**** crazy grown men can go for recruiting.

Is there any all-star game that isn't a waste of time?.... I guess MLB?

That's also why they get a chance to come in and get their block knocked off during the first week of practice. Most players have egos that are pretty easily broken after a few weeks practicing with an SEC team.

that you would be ecstatic about this "class individual" and awesome WR talent was headed to MSU. It's absurd to sit here and bash a high school player, who has been all-everything for the past 4 years at his school. Especially when he hasn't gotten into any trouble that I'm aware of, and hasn't even made it to a school and caused problems there. Hell, in high school I thought and acted like I was a better basketball player than all my friends. Was downright cocky about it. And I'm just a little white kid.

Cali-Florida game a few years ago. I went because one of my best friends had a son who played and was headed to USCal. It was a torrential downpour and my son and left at half-time.

Even the MLB game is a waste... but then again, I pretty much think MLB is a waste. Are they still doing that World Series thing?

Not to thread hijack, but am I the only one that thinks the Ole Miss on the UM jerseys looks awkward and out of place?
