I predict big game for TA

I think Tommy is a hell of a QB. I don't care about his critics on here. The kid is a warrior and a really decent person. We are damn lucky he is our QB.

I predict he is going to engineer some good drives tonight and show the country that our 7-0 record is no fluke

He's going to need to have his A game for sure. My fear is that a depleted O-line in comparison with maybe the nation's best front 7 (thankfully they've had some injuries too), does not fair well for Tommy to have his A game. IF he gets hit early or pressured, this will be a major test of his leadership and character. He can't get down.

I am with you and have loved Tommy as a QB - so here's to hoping he has a special performance.

We'll need him to play one of his better games if not his best game, him helping us moving the chains with either his legs or arms is a big key in winning tonight in Madison.

Unless the defense pulls another 408 collapse, this should be a close, tossup game even with a little of Bad Tommy mixed in with the Very Good. This year's team seems to play with great confidence no matter where they are, so the hostile crowd should be a very small factor.

I hope our rush defense is as stout as many believe. I'm not so sure. Of the teams we have played thus far their yards per carry against Nebraska has been amongst their highest of the year.

I feel about TA the way Greenbay fans use to feel about Bret Favre. He could win games for you with amazing and brilliant plays, AND he could stick a dagger in your heart with boneheaded school yard plays.

But in the end they are/were fierce competitors with huge hearts. Tommy is one of my favorite Husker QB's in a long time

I don't worry about TA getting down, seems like he always believes. But I worry about him trying too hard, or slipping into fantasy land and believing that anything he throws up will be caught by someone from NU.
