I understand why some traditionalist hate the Black Bear but we could really make it work to our advantage. After Floyd Raven's interview, where he said he was worried about the racial tension it is evident our University needs to show some attempts at reconciliation. I'm young so it is easier for me to empathize with Floyd but I think Col Reb had to go (I know Floyd didn't care about the mascot but you get my point). Speaking realistically, not out of emotion, the mascot change was inevitable. I'm not trying to start a mascot discussion, I just wanted some ideas on stadium expansion. A bear habitat as part of our stadium would be some amazing advertisement every single televised game!</div></td></tr></tbody></table></div>
