ball. Put some pressure on the NCAA so that at least they don't sit back and stall all season. I know that out athletic admin doesn't want to have to give up games if a violation is found, but lets be honest, what're we going to win without him? Nothing..

Maybe a western division championship (maybe not)?

<17> it, play him..

We can't play him until he is cleared. The TV announcer last night is an idiot.

So as of right now, he's ineligible. I'm pretty sure if he steps on the court, the refs could automatically call a forfeit. Maybe I'm wrong?

to "under review" a few weeks back from "ineligible due to non response".

That gave MSU the option to play Sidney, but would have to give up any wins if a violation of his amature status was found later..

I could be worng

We can play him whenever we want, but if he is ultimately ruled ineligible, we will have to forfeit all of the games he participated in. He is not ineligible. His amateur status is under review. So we are free to play him whenever. But if he is ultimately ruled ineligible, anything we get while he is in we have to forfeit. Wins, SEC West and/or SEC Championship, and any wins from the NCAA Tournament. We might have to do a Memphis and return any money that we received in games he played in, including concessions and payouts for tournament appearances.

Same as with athletes being certified academically. Football players can practice up to 14 days while their status is under review, but can't play and can't practice more than 14 days.

but like someone said earlier, we'd risk having any wins revoked if something did actually come of it.

we're not gonna win anything to really get upset about losing without him.

We might as well put his *** out there..

that we had the option to play him. I think it's more likely that he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about than that he's the only person who knows the rule.

We can only play him if an injunction was filed which I don't know if it was. They talked about it the first few games, but I never heard anything else. If there was one filed we have the option to play him but we probably wouldn't because they might vacate wins and no one man on a team is worth vacating wins for.
