HEY MAN, go pound rocks and kick sand if you have to ask**I'm mildly curious as to what reasons he gave for them not having scored yet.
He had some success as OC at Oregon in between those 2 blunders. He lost the greatest opportunity he’s ever gotten, is still mad about it, and all he’s done since he left was prove we were 1000% in the right for firing him.

I think he’d be better off focusing on being a career OC in the P4 and/or NFL, as opposed to trying to teach his very complex offense to 50% of the roster AND trying to do everything else related to running every aspect of an FBS program.
He was like a great 5* can't miss prospect that had never been away from home but couldn't adjust to school life away from his mom and old HS girlfriend and instead went back home, got married and went to work at the small town hardware store the rest of his life. But guys, he was a good hire at the time**
He’s got two nice looking rings on the scoreboard after the first two gamesHe has their Ring Size though
Consistency is key!
His offense was way too slow to develop and like a math problem for the players to figure out it works at penn state and Oregon because he has 5 stars every where. We just got sacks incompletions and stopped behind the line but he was a "savant" to the tinkererHe tried to throw too many 50/50 balls that wound up 10/90.
I Never understood much that he did.
He’s had a couple of really easy OC gigs. You give me Penn St and Oregon talent in offense & I think I could put up some offensive stats too.He had some success as OC at Oregon in between those 2 blunders.

He really wasn’t if you looked closely at his resume. Maybe worst decision Cohen made as AD. Firing him after just 2 years was maybe best decision he made. But guys, he was a good hire at the time**
Barkley had a lot of help. I believe 10 future NFL players on that offense.Imagine if Penn state would have had a real offensive coordinator in 2016. Saquon Barkley single handedly manufactured the opportunity for him to become a head coach some where.
I don’t think its some form of heresy to say he was a good OC. Not elite or anything, but still good. Plenty of shítty OC’s have squandered really good offensive talent elsewhere. And those 2020-2021 Oregon teams didn’t exactly have a ton of household names, either. He’s had a couple of really easy OC gigs. You guys are pointing with your finger instead of your thumb! **
He lost an opportunity? WE LOST AN OPPORTUNITY.He lost the greatest opportunity he’s ever gotten, is still mad about it, and all he’s done since he left was prove we were 1000% in the right for firing him.
Maybe. But if would be hard to 17 up those two jobs.I don’t think its some form of heresy to say he was a good OC. Not elite or anything, but still good. That and a couple major personality flaws. Much like his boss at the time, I don’t think Joe ever walked into a room in which he didn’t think he was the smartest person in it.He just can't manage a program. Akron has a postseason ban for poor academics. They got a warning last year and then their APR got even lower this year
The Akron Zips have to be the most appropriately named team in FBS. They play Trent Dilfer-led UAB next week. The U 54.5 is looking like free money.
They self-imposed a post season ban when they hired Moophead.Akron has a postseason ban for poor academics. They got a warning last year and then their APR got even lower this year
NO.......That would be one Sylvester Croomis he the biggest con ever? Had the best player in CFB and rode that to our job.
Croom had little buzz and was taking over a dumpster fire. National folks raved about SloMo and he took over, what should have been, a 10 win team.NO.......That would be one Sylvester Croom
But yet it’s indisputable that he still didn’t 17 them up.Maybe. But if would be hard to 17 up those two jobs.
It just proves the floor was 8 wins for that team. How good was that 2018 team if that moron could win 8 games here
