$9T in new debt under Obama. By far, the greatest amount of debt every piled up. Nice try.

(CNSNews.com) – The federal government passed a fiscal milestone on the first business day of fiscal 2017—which was Monday, Oct. 3—when the total federal debt accumulated during the presidency of Barack Obama topped $9,000,000,000,000 for the first time.

Again, chew on these.....

And you do realize, just like in life, the $$$ amount of everything always goes upward. Like the salaries, etc.

Do you want to discuss Dem president's treatment of women? LMAO. Saying something is one thing, actually doing the things that Clinton, LBJ, JFK, and the rest of the Kennedy clan is far different. Hypocrite
"Grab 'em by the *****"

We know how this ends.

“Frederick Douglass is an example of somebody who has done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I notice.”

We know how this ends.

Better?

Your poor, simple mind. You are dealing with $$$ amounts. How about percent increase from past administration's budget? Reagan wins...hands down.....

When a President doubles the national debt during his term (meaning he piled up more debt than all prior Presidents combined), that is quite an accomplishment. Percentages are far less meaningful than total dollars.

If you make $10,000 per year, a $500 or 5% purchase is huge for you. If you make $1M per year, a 10 fold increase to a $5,000 purchase or .005% is nothing. Clearly the $5,000 purchase is much, much larger. Obama started with a higher base, thus making the percentages relatively meaningless. Facts are stubborn things. He doubled our debt in whole dollars during his 8 years.

OK. Fine. Let's look at your beloved Reagan:

When he took over: $1 trillion
When he left office: $2.9 trillion

I'm not great at math, but that isn't double....that is right at TRIPLE........but yeah, Obama was worse......[winking]

You leave out critical facts. The first is that the Dems ran Congress and all monies were appropriated by them during the Reagan years. Secondly, Reagan's policies nearly doubled monies paid to the Treasury, the Dems simply spent more. And third, Reagan's military build-up caused the collapse of the Soviet Union and the peace dividend was huge. Two, Obama piled up this debt mainly using CR's when he lost the House.

Whole dollars are all that matters. Nearly $10T is unmatched in American history. I see you are not anything close to understanding math.

Excuses. First, Reagan was a good president. However, his actions were NOT what brought down the USSR. They were having problems long before the military buildup. They had gotten to large with their satellite states and their own economy is what brought them down. When Mikhail introduced "glasnost" and "perastroika" that was all she wrote.

But, again, you want to talk "numbers" and then when it's thrown back at you it's time for excuses. Facts are facts. Reagan tripled it.

LMAO, right Reagan had nothing to do with the Soviet Collapse. You need to read Colin Powell's book.

I grow tired of someone so immune to math. If you have a dollar of debt and it triples to $3, that is not much debt. If you have $10T and it doubles to $20T, that is huge amount of debt. Simple concept to grasp but beyond your mind. Not surprising.

So, if I built a 1800 square foot home in 1960 for $30,000.......and built another one in 2016 for $180,000......the newest one must be made with gold for that much of an increase.......right? ;) Because prices stay the same over time.

Reagan tripled it.....face it. Obama doubled it. And Reagan did play a role in the decline of the USSR, but it wasn't as substantial as you'd like for it to be.

More debt than all prior presidents combined. That will be his epithet.

Long way to go to get to $10 trillion of debt. Facts are very stubborn things.

And you realize the GOP controlled Congress for 6 of Obama's 8 years?

Argument sound familiar?

Trump can directly control where his wife lives. Get her *** in the WH and quit costing us $1M per day.
Stop running to Mar-a-Lago every weekend and costing us $3M a pop. At that rate, they will cost us a half a billion dollars per year.

Wrong again. The Senate controlled by Dems until 2015. Reid refused to consider GOP budgets and used CR's to fund the government. Senate Dems didn't even pass annual budgets. Nice try.

The GOP controlled the House from 2011 - 2016, six of the 8 years.

The GOP has control of both the House and the Senate right now and can't pass a budget. You are the most misinformed person I have ever met. You constantly try to argue black is white. Even after you are repeatedly shown to be wrong, you continue to attempt to argue your point when it is futile.

So keep pointing out what a big spender Obama was when Trump is costing us $1M per day because his wife refuses to leave NYC and $3M every weekend because Trump wants to go golfing at Mar-a-Lago when he could keep his *** in DC and play there.

You're as dumb as a sled track. Dems controlled the Senate until 2015. The House can pass nothing without the Senate. You can't be this stupid.

LMAO. They just passed a spending bill to keep the government open. Here is the budget timetable. My God are you stupid.

Title III of the Congressional Budget Act establishes a specific timetable for the congressional budget process.

On or Before:

Action to be completed:

First Monday in February

President submits his budget.

February 15

Congressional Budget Office submits report to Budget Committees.

Not later than 6 weeks after the President submits the budget.

Committees submit views and estimates to Budget Committees.
(Frequently, the House Budget Committee sets own date based on Legislative Calendar)

April 1

Senate Budget Committee reports concurrent resolution on the
budget.

April 15

Congress completes action on the concurrent resolution on the budget.
(This is not signed by the President).*

May 15

Annual appropriation bills may be considered in House.

June 10

House Appropriations Committee reports last annual appropriation bill.

June 15

Congress completes action on reconciliation legislation.
(If required by the budget resolution).

June 30

House completes action on annual appropriation bills.

October 1

Fiscal year begins.

Obama proposed the 2017 budget it was never going to pass. The GOP budget had to wait until Obama left office. They just passed the spending bill to keep the government open until the next budget. Talk about morons.

"Successful votes later this week would also clear away any remaining threat of a government shutdown — at least until the Oct. 1 start of the 2018 budget year."

So it hasn't passed yet? The only thing that has passed is a one week spending bill. Thanks for proving my point, moron.

It's a done deal all parties have agreed. When you look in a mirror, do you see the words of stupid?
